A Few FAQs
- Where do you ship? - Currently, you’ll find shipping rates on our site for Canada-wide delivery (US shipping is paused). If you’re overseas, we are pleased to accommodate your location! Just send us a note or email (hello@thehandpickedhome.com) with your item selections & address; we will have delivery quoted for you & include it as a shipping option for completing your order safely online. 
 
- How much is shipping? - All orders throughout Canada are charged a flat-rate shipping fee of $16. Rates via Canada Post are for tracked, expedited delivery & your tracking # is provided once your purchase is ready for shipment. - New! Free shipping is available Canada-wide for all orders over $125. Use code FREESHIPCANADA @ checkout. All shipping rates exclude Local Pick-Up items; see more under Why are some items not available for delivery?. 
 
- Are you local to the Peninsula? Be sure to select local pick-up to skip the shipping charge & swing by our local meet-up point for a grab & go! We will have your items bagged & ready for you on our designated pick-up date, as determined via email. Alternatively, choose local delivery for a small fee of $6 & your order will be delivered straight to your door within the Peninsula parameters; enter your address at checkout to determine if your postal code is eligible. 
 
- How long until my order is shipped? - We do our best to get our orders out the door within 1 to 4 business days & keep in contact to include updates & tracking details. If you’d like to check in on your order, we are happy to hear from you! Send us an email with your order number & we can answer any questions you may have. Shipping times vary based on your location, & shipping time is in addition to in-shop processing time. 
 
- Can I make a change to my order details? - We try to accommodate every request possible - for this, please contact us immediately or within 24 hours & we will do our best for you. Once your package has been shipped, we are not able to honor any changes. 
 
- Do you accept returns? - Online orders are eligible for refunds for 14 days from your ship date for goods* purchased. Please ensure all packaging & tags are intact; all acceptable goods must be in re-sellable condition. *Please note: all food items, jewelry (including Watches), undergarments & SALE items are final sale. Should you find any issues with your order, please email us (hello@thehandpickedhome.com) & we will gladly do our best to help you. Once your return has been reviewed, you will be notified via email & receive a refund in your original form of payment online within 4-5 business days (depending on your bank’s specifications). 
 
- I did not receive my order; what should I do? - If you find any issues with delivery, please email us so that we can look into the details for you. 
 
- Why are some items not available for delivery? - We have marked some items as local pick-up only based on size, weight & fragility of their nature. Please understand that not all goods we carry are shipping-friendly, but if you’re inclined to have us ship a product that you love that isn’t available for delivery, send us a note! We will do our best to custom quote & make it happen for you!
